Appsian – Formerly GreyHeller Announces TCU To Present “Adventures in Mobilization” at HEUG Alliance 2013 Conference

Session will detail TCU’s experience with Appsian’s PeopleMobile™ for Oracle® PeopleSoft Campus Solutions

SAN RAMON, CA. /Newswire/ – Appsian – Formerly GreyHeller today announced that Texas Christian University will present “Adventures in Mobilization, Appsian PeopleMobile™ and TCU Mobile” at the 2013 Higher Education User Group Alliance Conference. The session, to be delivered on March 18 in Indianapolis, will feature TCU’s mobile journey in native development, outsourcing, and Appsian. The session will also feature what is on TCU’s roadmap for mobile.

PeopleMobile™ optimizes any PeopleSoft pages and customizations for display on smartphones. PeopleMobile™ simplifies common mobile application development by eliminating the need to develop individual mobile renditions of every PeopleSoft page/customization for every mobile device. PeopleMobile™ leverages Appsian’s proprietary security algorithms to prevent security breaches while providing detail logging of mobile and workstation access to PeopleSoft. Unlike competitive products, PeopleMobile™ does not require additional hardware or software and therefore minimizes complexity and total cost of ownership.

Hendrix Bodden, Appsian’s CEO, said “TCU is a valued partner of Appsian’s. TCU’s mobile strategy and use of technology is innovative and has set an example for other higher education institutions. We are looking forward to TCU’s presentation at Alliance.”
